Rates

Boarding rates for dogs: $25 per overnight, each additional dog is $20 per night.

Boarding rates for cats: $14 per overnight, each additional cat in the same room is $12 per night.

For boarding animals longer than a month, please contact us for rates. We work closely with teachers and military members so they can take extended absences without having to surrender their animals to shelters.

General Policies:

Medications: We do allow pets on medications except for Insulin & Phenobarbital. The illness’ related to these medications require a veterinarian’'s care should any complications arise.

We are open by appointment only. Summer hours are Sun-F 9-11am and 5:30pm-8:30pm, and Sat. 9am-noon.

The animals keep us busy, from cleaning to long walks to unexpected vet trips, so call ahead if your arrival/dropoff times change.

We require your preferred veterinarians name and phone number to be on file while boarding. If you do not currently have a preferred veterinarian, we can provide you with names of local veterinarians we have worked with. However, it is your responsibility to choose a veterinarian you feel confident with and trust.

In the event that there is a medical emergency, our main concern is for the pet. We will take your pet to the nearest veterinarian for treatment. You will be responsible for these charges. We will attempt to contact you at the telephone numbers you have provided beforehand.

If your pet requires a special diet, please bring their food with you.

PLEASE NOTE: We respect an owner's choice to use holistic methods for their pet. If your pet sees a holistic veterinarian and it is against your belief to vaccinate, we will not require the vaccinations listed below. We WILL require some form of verification that your pet is cared for by a veterinarian. Owners must also accept all risk of illness.

Our policies for dogs:

Vaccinations: Dogs must have parvo vaccine and bordatella is recommended for kennel cough. Records must be faxed to us 24-hrs. before check-in date. For the safety of all our guests, we cannot allow animals on the premises without proof of vaccination.

Fleas/ticks: dogs must be on flea medicine from April-November. If fleas/ticks are discovered, Revolution or Frontline will be applied at the owners expense ($15). We take no responsibility if your dog leaves here with fleas/ticks. We have many acres and the dogs get plenty of exercise time outside, encountering bugs such as fleas and ticks is to be expected.

All dogs over 6 months old must be spayed/neutered. Due to the free-roaming environment, we don't want to send anyone home with a litter of puppies :).

We are unable to take in large pit bulls due to insurance constraints.

Because this is a free roaming environment, think carefully about the items you bring with you (toys, bedding, etc.). We can't guarantee they won't get buried in the yard, stuffed under a couch, or chewed up by others. We have a huge variety of toys and bedding for them during their stay.

Our policies for cats:

All cats over 6 months old must be spayed/neutered.

Vaccinations: Cats must be current on FVRCP (distemper combo). The vaccine must be administered at least a week before boarding.

Cats should be current on flea medicine. Cats showing signs of fleas will be given a dose of Revolution ($15) at the owner’s cost. All cats will be checked for fleas, ear mites, ringworm, any other parasites or contagious conditions. Cats found with such conditions will be treated and the owner will be charged accordingly.

We do not require Bordetella for cats. All cats who have had a Bordetella vaccine within the last 30 days will not be allowed in our facility. ( This is due to the reactions to the vaccine that resembles the actual disease, We are unable to diagnose and must assume the cat is ill and contagious.)
